Repairing with the material that is incompatible with the original waterproof layer, which make the repair layer and the original waterproof layer not be well combined, failing to meet the overall requirements, and often causing secondary leakage after completion.

Taboo 3: Rigid waterproof roof cracks are only sealed with ordinary cement mortar. Firstly, the size, extent and distribution of cracks should be investigated, and the causes of cracks should be analyzed, and then repaired with materials such as sealing materials, waterproof coatings and waterproof membranes.

Taboo 4: Found a leak in the basement, check the leak point, and find the placs to repair. The main reason for the leakage is not clearly analyzed. Only part of the leakage channel can be repaired. The leakage water can flow out from other easily permeable parts, and there is a possibility of generating new leak points, and it is also prone to repeated blockage. When carrying out comprehensive plugging construction, it should be blocked first and then leaked first; then plugged high and then repaired low; first repair the wall and repair the floor after the work.

Taboo 5: The basement is leaking in large area. When it is completely refurbished with waterproof mortar, it will be watered. Waterproof mortar surface treatment in the presence of water leakage will hinder the normal curing of the waterproof mortar, failing to achieve the desired bonding effect, compactness and impermeability, and failing the renovation work. Firstly, the drainage should be carried out. It can be set at the leakage water, and the inorganic quick-setting material should be used to stop the water. The position of the grouting is required, and the pressure grouting is first performed. After the base surface is not leaked, the waterproof mortar can be applied.
